Audits
All vertical transportation equipment is required by code to have a maintenance contract. Adherence to that specific contract is achieved through independent maintenance audits and is a service that Gregory M. Davis & Associates takes significant pride in due to the immediate identification of problematic equipment and recommendation of maintenance improvement.

Maintenance Audit Process:

Identification of equipment including manufacturer, date of installation/modernization, capacity and speed.

Complete evaluation of machine room, hoistways, cartops and pits for all equipment.

Compliance with prevailing elevator codes and ADA requirements.

Measure and evaluate car speeds, door times, leveling accuracy and ride quality in conformance with industry standards or contractual obligations.

Review on-site maintenance records.
