When constructing a new building one of the most important decisions is how many elevators and what the capacity and speeds will be.  This decision is not one that may be easily changed in the future and one that will be lived with for the lifetime of the building.  We utilize the latest “Elevate” software when performing these calculations to ensure our clients that the right decision will be made.

Is a Traffic Analysis only for New Construction?  No.
 

When undertaking a modernization Project we perform a detailed traffic analysis for a number of different reasons, including verification of existing car speeds and whether or not there are options to make changes, performance of a new control system vs. The existing control system which will not have the dispatching logic found in new control systems, and with the emergence of Destination Dispatch Logic we evaluate the building to determine whether or not this latest technology is right for the specific building layout and population.
